The Pension Romantika is located in Matala, only 300 meters from the famous beach. There are a total of 10 single-, double- ,and three bed rooms, furnished in a friendly way, each with its own shower, WC and a big communal balcony. On the first floor you'll find a comfortable salon with a fully stocked bar.

This family style pension is managed by Maria, a young and friendly woman who speaks english and german.
The guesthouse is quiet and cosy but nevertheless central located. It's only 5 minutes walk to the center of Matala with its many shops, bars and restaurants.

Best choice for who prefers a simple but clean and very cheap guesthouse.

Maria and her husband Vangelis also rent a small, beautiful Natural Stone house in the center of the traditional village Sivas.

2-3 persons will find place. Only some meters away one can find the small village square with its cosy taverns, and find a part of the real Cretan live. The house is modern furnished and equiped with:

-- Downstairs: kitchen and livingroom with Sat TV

– Upstairs: Bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom (shower/WC) and washing machine.

Further: chimney and air conditioning / heating.

Parking is possible some meters away at the village square.

The price for one night/ house is only 50 €.
