Agia Galini

Ca. 78 km südlich von Heraklion liegt Agia Galini.
Es ist ein kleines Dorf in dem die Häuser am Hang gestapelt sind, wodurch man von fast jedem Standpunkt aus einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer hat.

In den kleinen Gassen gibt es eine reiche Anzahl an Cafés, Restaurants und Bars.
Besonders schön ist es abends auf die hohe, begehbare Kaimauer von Agia Galini zu spazieren und die Ruhe zu genießen. Von dort aus kann man den effektvoll beleuchteten Ort in seiner ganzer Pracht bewundern.

Vom Hafen aus werden Schifffahrten zu den nächsten Stränden und Ausflugsorte angeboten. Auch Wassersportler kommen auf ihre Kosten.

Agia Galini hat einen kleinen, eigenen Strand mit Liegestuhlverleih. Auch hier finden Sie einige Strandbars und -restaurants.

Agia Galini is located approx 78km south from Iraklion.
This small village in that the houses at the slope is stacked, whereby you have a marvelous view from nearly each point on the sea.
In the small streets one can find many of cafés, restaurants and bars. Particularly beautifull it's in the eveninghours to walk on the accessible quay wall of Agia Galini, here you can enjoy yourself. From there you can admire also the impressively lit up place in its whole splendour.

From the port ship travels for the next beaches and places for excursions are offered. Also water sportsmen come at their expense.

Agia Galini has a small, own beach with beach chair rental business. You find also some bars and restaurants here.
