We are Samira, Nikos and Jannis and we have designed this internet site which is a one stop shop for all the restaurants, hotels and resorts in Southern Crete (District Iraklion).

Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean.
It is located approximately 100 km south of the Peleponnes and is between the Aegean Sea and the East Mediterranean sea.

The beautiful island is 12 - 57 km broad and 260 km long. The sea in the north is called Kreti sea, that in the south Libyan sea.

The number of inhabitants is with approximately 600.165. (estimated). Administrative and economic center of Crete are Iraklio . With approximately 140,000 inhabitants it is the largest city of Crete.

Around Crete some smaller inhabited and uninhabited islands group themselves. The island Gavdos lying before the cretan southwest coast marks the southernmost inhabited point of Europe.

The highest mountain of Crete is the Psiloritis
(2456 m) of the IDA mountains.

The climate is southern European and is very mild. In July and August the average temperature is 38 C falling to 10 C in January and February.
