Welcome to the beautiful hill-top house in the picturesque village of Pitsidia in southern Crete.
The house towers over the village and offers a wonderful view over the Bay of Messara and the beach of Komos, which is only a few minutes away.
The newly built hill-top house offers 2 very nicely furnished studios, each with a separate entrance and a great terrace with sea and mountain views.
The studios are fully equipped, have a shower room, TV, internet, kitchenette, air conditioning, and a beautiful double bed on a gallery, which is accessed by stairs.
The small couch can be folded out into an additional bed, making the Hill-Tops Studios ideal for couples and small families.
Pitsidia is a small village not far from Matala and the south coast of Crete. As Matala became more and more touristy in the 70s and 80s, many of the hippies and long-term vacationers moved to Pitsidia. Tourist infrastructure quickly developed here in the form of room rentals and taverns. Today Pitsidia is very popular with alternative vacationers, especially from Germany.
In Pitsidia you can find an originally remaining Cretan village with an intact structure, farms, and rural life.
Pitsidia is a perfect starting point if you want to discover the beauties of the south coast of Crete, as both the large stalls such as Komos, Red Beach and Agiofarango are nearby, as well as the wild Asterousia mountains and the Ida mountains with the impressive Psiloristis, the tallest Mountain of Crete.
The Odigitrias monastery, the former hippie town of Matala, or the fjord-like bay Vathi are also worth a visit!
