Richard LeMieux – Exhibition „RELATIONSHIP“ at Green Kukunari, Pitsidia

This profound quote welcomes visitors to Richard LeMieux’s new exhibition at Green Kukunari in Pitsidia, setting the tone for what unfolds within the space: a powerful, poetic exploration of the theme of relationships.
On the opening night, many interested visitors gathered – art lovers, neighbors, holidaymakers, and old friends of the artist. The atmosphere was lively yet focused; the works drew attention and sparked conversations, creating that special space where art, thoughts, and encounters interweave.
The exhibition consists of several pairs of paintings – each pair of canvases reflecting, complementing, or challenging one another. In muted, restrained colors, circles, movements, voids, and lines, the concept of relationships is not only depicted but made tangible. This arrangement is complemented by a series of stone sculptures meticulously crafted by LeMieux – balanced forms, opposites in harmony, heavy yet full of lightness.
The exhibition will be on view throughout the summer in the interior of Green Kukunari, inviting visitors to return more than once – as the full effect of the works is not immediately apparent at first glance.
Richard LeMieux, who has lived in Southern Crete for many years, once again demonstrates with “RELATIONSHIP” the multifaceted nature of his art – sensitive, powerful, and always open to transformation.
